Basshead Recording Studios is one branch of it’s parent company, Basshead Productions.  The owner, Jason Johanson, was referred to as “Basshead” while he was growing up due to his fascination and dedication to music.  There spawned the name of the company, which has evolved and expanded into two branches: Basshead Productions Live Sound Services and Basshead Recording Studios.  Opened for business in 2000, the recording studio is at it’s peak and ready and able to assist you on your projects.

    The Chief Engineer and Studio Manager, Phil Short, holds a degree in music technology and has as much experience playing music as recording and mixing it.  The studio has come a long way from it’s beginning and is continuously improving with every client and project that comes through its doors.  We are very excited to work on any project no matter what your sound.

We have a comprehensive inventory of in-house equipment that is available to our clients for their projects, but feel free to bring all of your gear as well.  With an open mind and a goal orientated environment, we can get you what you want, in less time and for less money than you might expect.

Our live-sound services employ only experienced engineers and use industry standard equipment to ensure professional results.  Along with our live-sound services, Basshead Productions can also record your live show by combining our recording experience with our live sound experience for an exceptional product and price!
